I just wanted to take the time to shout out to our friends over at Suck My Cog. I know everyone talks about how fixed gear riders are all hipster and shit but if you have ever tried riding one it is not easy. Getting from point A to point B is a whole different story from doing barspins down stairsets, jumping over handrails, and grinding ledges. Riding a fixed gear bike is all about timing. Since your feet are constantly moving you have no choice but to pedal and charge down hills. They use resistance with their legs to skid and slide the bike out sideways real quick to control their speed (your legs can only move so fast). Fixed gear biking remains pretty underground, but is growing in popularity. They even offer models made for mountainbiking, bmx riding and cruising. -Leecifer
